Title: Eurovision - Lost MCD
Rated: StarStarStarStarStar
Label: Leg End Productions
Date: February 27, 2005

Lost
Without You (Great Wall Remix by Chinese Theatre)
Lost (Death Valley Remix by Cyan)
Sadistic Kiss
Without You (Separate Mix by Column 5)

This is the second single released on Leg End Productions for Eurovision from the debut album "On Fire". It was after this single the the band announced that Joe and Mike were discontinuing the project, with Joe continuing in his new project Brand New Day, while Mike moving on to work with RSSR and on his own solo album. Since then, it´s been announced a second, and last album will be released (entitled "Finale"), but this is the final single for the band.

After the album version of "Lost", Chinese Theatre open the remixes with a very bouncy and danceable old-style synthpop mix of "Without You". I love the bassline in this remix! Following that is a Cyan remix of the title track, which honestly was quite unremarkable. The vocals are terribly muffled, and the rest of the track also sounds very muted. "Sadistic Kiss", the exclusive b-side song here, picks things up excellently, though. A great chorus, and while it is a bit muffled, it´s not nearly as bad as the previous track. Column 5 close out the single with another remix of "Without You", and it´s a relatively low-key mix, but still enjoyable.

Honestly, I disagree with the idea of releasing two separate singles for "On Fire". I think it would have been more reasonable to combine these two single cds into on Remix/Single EP, and merely have "Lost" and "Without You" as dual A-sides. But, the singles are reasonably priced, so if you enjoyed "On Fire", it would be worth it to you to get the singles as well...
